Cracking the Phantom Code

Within the Phantom Code lies the key to defeat VerOS once and for all. Activate Fragment Effects to increase difficulty towards higher Difficulty Levels. Defeat VerOS at increased difficulty levels to unlock new Phantom Fragments and rewards.

Phantom Compiler

The Phantom Compiler in the corner of the room where Shaper Cores can be changed, before reaching the first combat room.

It can be used to change the active Phantom Fragments, to increase or decrease the difficulty of the run.

Phantom Fragments

Players can add Phantom Fragments in order to increase the current Difficulty Level. Additional Fragments can be unlocked to be applied by finishing a run with that Difficulty Level active.

Difficulty Level Modifier

When a certain threshold is achieved by summing all the Fragments added in the Phantom Compiler, the Difficulty Level will increase, applying additional Difficulty Level Modifiers to the run.
