Towers are the areas where the player can progress through in order to challenge the Overlords.

Players start their journey at The Hideout, a refuge created and maintained by Meemo, progressing through the next 3 towers, Robotics Hub, The Stormscraper and Gravity Garden. Players can choose the order in which these towers will entered, and by clearing all three of them, the Orbital Complex will be available.

Overlords will choose the Towers they reside at random on each run, making the choice of which Tower to face first dependent on the preference of the Player, since Overlords can Evolve their powers.

New Elysium

New Elysium.png
A once-peaceful technological utopia shaped by a centralized superintelligence, New Elysium is now gripped by conflict, overrun by the very machines that helped built it.

New Elysium is the city where all of the Towers are situated. Created by JanOS, robots and humans lived together and had a prosper life.

Players don't access the city directly, but many references to it's life before the Overlords took over can be read on the game's Lore Chips.

Hidden away in the blackout zone of district 35, this abandoned magrail station now serves as Ada's base of operations in her fight against the Overlords.

The Hideout is the first area players will adventure. With a combination of yellow and white with green details, it's a city-like ambiance, with benches, terminals and advertisement around.

The biome has a very linear layout, being two traversal and two combat rooms, and an additional path at the end.

There is little resistance, and only Grunts and Gunner Drones are present. It does not have an inherent Trap type laid out.

Some rooms will contain hidden Ciphers, and players are encouraged to explore them with additional Powers unlocked, especially the enhancement Breaker's Punch. Please refer to the main page for additional information on the location and requirements to unlock Ciphers on this Biome.

The layout is similar to the other two Overlords Towers, having around 5 combat rooms, including one that bifurcates in two paths. A noticeable room is the Wallride, on the right side of the bifurcation of the Upper Tower.

The Biome can spawn a number of enemies via through Boss Powers, but also have their version of the Grunt, the Hard Hat. The Biome also have it's specific Trap, the Proximity Mine.
